  • Will tickets be available at the gate?

    • Yes, for $20 ​

  • What should I bring cash or card?

    • Cash or card. Cash preferred

  • How much are the tacos?

    • $2

  • Is there a limit on how many tacos I can buy at one time?

    • Yes 5 tacos per person, per order, per taco vendor.

  • Can we bring outside food?

    • No outside FOOD or BEVERAGES allowed.

  • Can we bring in our own beverage containers

    • No outside beverage containers allowed.

  • Is Parking Complimentary?

    • Yes, Parking will be complimentary​

    • Parking Lots -  There will be 2 parking lots on festival grounds (please refer to the event map.) 

    • Over Flow Parking -  Overflow Central parking will be available at the Andover High School Parking lot. 

    • Shuttles -  Shuttles will NOT be running from Andover High School to the venue. If you have to use the overflow parking, you will have to walk down to the venue. Lucky for you it's a short walk!

  • Can we bring in lawn chairs​​​

  • Is this a family friendly event

  • Handicap accessible?

    • Yes

  • Can I leave and come back in?

    • No, Single Entry

      • Once you leave the festival grounds you will have to pay to get back in.

  • Are kids free?

    • Kids 5 & under are free.

  • Pet friendly?

    • Only service dogs allowed and must be leashed at all times.

  • I can’t attend, can I give my ticket to someone else?

    • Yes, all tickets are good for one scan. Please forward your purchased ticket to the new ticket recipient.

  • What is the VIP Tequila Expo?

    • Must be 21+ to access this area

      • ID’s will be checked

    • VIP Hours - 3:00pm - 9:00pm

    • Tequila Expo Hours - 4:30pm-7:30pm

    • Private shaded area

    • ONLY 200 Tickets available!

      • Tickets Available online only!​

    • Ticket includes admission into Taco Fest

    • Commemorative festival lanyard and shot glass

    • Sample up to 10 different .5 oz shots of Top Shelf Tequila & Mescal

    • Re-entry allowed into VIP area!

    • Restrooms on site

  • Please explain the Jalapeno Eating Competition and when can I sign up?

    • A crowd favorite, 10 event attendees face off to see who can consume the most amount of Jalapenos in a given amount if time.

    • There are 10 Spots available.

    • Each spot costs $10.

    • Winner takes the Pot worth $100 and a trophy.

    • Must be 18 to sign up

    • Follow @wichitatacofest on social media for sign ups announcements.

  • Will there be bathrooms and hand wash stations?

    • Yes

  • What’s your policy on refunds

    • Absolutely no refunds at anytime.

  • What is your weather policy?

    • The festival will go on come rain or shine

      • Tacos taste good in any weather.

  • Will there be First Aid on-site?

    • Yes we will have first aid on site

      • Look for the first aid signs

  • What is you Bag policy?

    • CLEAR BAGS ONLY!

  • Will there be an ATM on site?

    • Yes

  • Is this an outdoor or indoor festival?

    • No Guns, knives or outside glassware allowed at any time!
